The best training a player can do to get ready for the upcoming season is to keep a stick in his/her hands and “hit the wall.” Fortunately, we have a terrific ball wall with lights at Davis Park where kids can practice at any hour.
Our good friend Chris Bocklet of X10 Lacrosse has put together an extensive wall ball routine that players of all abilities can follow to work on their stick skills. We’re confident that by following this routine, your child’s stick skills will be in great shape once the season starts.
As many of you have heard, Chris was involved recently in an accident and faces a very long road to recovery. He needs all of the support he can get. Part of that support is knowing that our Riptide players, many of whom Chris has worked with, are following his routine and getting better on their own.
